Age Statement for applicable communities- I'm over 18.
Warning to HP Fen: I hate the HP books and almost everything that comes out of JKR's mouth- but I love the fandom, and that is what I am here for.
FRIENDING I am forever changing my mind on what posts of mine I want under flock or not, which I know, sucks for any potential friends wondering what is appropriate. Basically- it's cool to friend me. I may or may not friend you back, and I may or may not use filters (I keep changing my mind on that). Don't take offense if I don't friend you back- I'm very busy and have a hard time keeping track of who recently friended me, even with nifty things like http://www.marnanel.org/joule - If you want to get my attention for being friended back- you'll need to post and say "Hi!" Don't worry, I don't bite, unless asked ;-) As long as your LJ is not totally empty, newly created, etc I will probably friend you back (If I am feeling up to dealing with filters and if you post almost nothing but meme's though, I will probably filter you just to make my flist manageable to read). If your journal doesn't look active though, I may not friend you, for the simple reason that I unfortunately have a few stalkerish people in my life that I need to be cautious about, which really sucks, sorry.
abp_meta is a community created by fans of the Bittersweet Potion Series to discuss it. While I do sometimes discuss my writing in this journal, that comm is a place for readers to discuss their interpretations. I am not offended by critique, or being asked to stay out of a discussion there.
ACCESSING OLD POSTS that have been locked: When I change how I have filters set up, I sometimes just mass-lock everything before a certain date rather than try to figure out, and manually change, custom locked posts to other custom filters. If you are looking for something specific, let me know what and why, and I will usually unlock it for you.
"The democracy of reading means that as soon as a book is published you lose control of how it's interpreted anyhow, and so you should. To tell someone else how to read your book is to fall into the temptation of fundamentalism." - Philip Pullman
